Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Cupcakes by Aunt Bea. These terms and conditions outline the rules for ordering and enjoying our delicious treats. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Orders & Payments         

  • All orders must be placed in advance, either online, by phone, or in person.
  • A 50% retainer is required at the time of ordering, with the full payment due 48 hours prior to the delivery date.
  • Rush orders (requested within the 48-hour delivery period) will incur an additional $25 rush fee, subject to availability.
  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other approved payment methods.

2. Custom Orders & Special Requests

  • Custom orders (e.g., themed cupcakes, wedding cakes) require at least 3–5 days’ notice, depending on size and design.
  • We’ll do our best to accommodate special requests, but some designs or flavors may not always be available.
  • Changes or cancellations to custom orders must be made at least 48 hours prior to pickup or delivery.

3. Pickup & Delivery

  • Pickup times will be confirmed upon order placement. Please arrive on time—we can’t guarantee freshness if treats are left uncollected for too long.
  • Free delivery is offered for orders over $50 within a 20-mile radius.
  • For orders under $50 or outside the 20-mile radius, delivery is available for an additional fee.
  • Delivery times will be agreed upon at the time of ordering.
  • We’re not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unexpected issues.

4. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

  • Our bakery handles common allergens, including wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy.
  • Please inform us of any allergies before placing your order.
  • While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely allergen-free.

5. Refunds & Returns

  • Since our treats are fresh and made to order, we do not accept returns or refunds unless there is a mistake on our part.
  • If you’re unhappy with your order, contact us within 24 hours, and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue.
  • Photos or return of the majority of the product may be requested to evaluate the issue.

6. Cancellations

  • Orders canceled more than 48 hours before pickup/delivery will receive a refund minus the 50% retainer fee.
  • Orders canceled within 48 hours may not be refunded, as ingredients and labor are already prepared.

7. Quality & Freshness

  • Our treats are made fresh daily and are best enjoyed within 2–3 days of purchase.
  • Storage instructions:
  • Cupcakes may be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • For longer storage, wrap cupcakes in cellophane, place in an airtight container, and freeze for up to 1 month.
  • Note: Frosting may not look as pretty after freezing but should still taste good if stored properly.
  • Before serving, allow cupcakes to come to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

8. Liability

  • We are not responsible for any mishandling, damage, or spoilage that occurs after pickup or delivery.
  • By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

9. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these terms occasionally. The latest version will always be on our website or available upon request.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Rush orders (less than 48 hr notice) are an additional $25 fee, if available.

Each dessert is handcrafted with care, creativity and high-quality ingredients.  We are committed to providing treats that not only look beautiful but taste amazing.  If you believe there is a mistake with your order, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery or pickup. We may require photos or a return of the product in question to evaluate the issue. If an error was made on our end, we will gladly make it right thru one of the following:

* Store credit

* Partial or full replacement of the product

* a discount on a future order

Once a product has been consumed (either full or majority) we are unable to verify the concern, store credits or replacement may not be offered. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are not responsible for any damages that occur during transit to products after delivery or pickup due to improper storage, handling or environmental conditions (e.g. heat exposure, dropping the item, etc.) and all sales are final.
